Product Description
The Waters Delta-Pak C4 Sentry Guard pre-column cartridges 20x3.9mm, 5µm, are used to protect Delta-Pak C4 HPLC columns with 3.9mm internal diameter installed. The Sentry Guard holder WAT064910 is required as the pre-column holder.

Additional Notes
Delta-Pak is based on spherical, bonded, and end-capped silica. The 100-Å materials are designed for small molecules and peptides, while the 300-Å pores allow larger peptides and proteins better access to the bonded phase. C18 provides stronger hydrophobic retention; C4 reduces this interaction and is particularly suitable for larger biomolecules. With 5- and 15-µm packing sizes and a range of column inner diameters, Delta-Pak can be scaled from analytical methods to preparative purification.
