Optimal sealing of crimp-top vials
For the best possible closure of your crimp-top vial, your pliers should be adjusted to the following parameters:
- Design and length of the crimp neck
- Thickness and hardness of the septum used
- Type and material of your cap
For the correct settings, please refer to the instruction manual for your pliers. Also check your settings regularly during operation. For particularly good reproducibility, it may also be advisable to use automatic, electric pliers.
