Ghost-Guard-LC columns are special columns that effectively remove non-polar impurities from the mobile phase and thus solve the problem of unwanted ghost peaks or poor baselines. Ghost-Guard-LC columns are characterised by the following features:
- Ghost peaks are effectively removed
- Easy to install and use
- Compatible with all commercially available HPLC and UHPLC devices
- Compatible with all common organic solvents and most aqueous buffer solutions
- Stable over a wide pH range
Ghost-Guard-LC columns are usually installed between gradient mixers and autosamplers.

The Ghost-Guard-LC columns from ANALYTE - Analytical Support are available as new and refill with 4.6 mm inner diameter and 30 mm or 50 mm length. Other dimensions are available on request. Two Ghost-Guard columns are also available for UHPLC applications up to 600 bar.
