Waters™ Symmetry® Columns are manufactured using high purity silica and stringently controlled manufacturing processes to ensure optimum performance and superior column-to-column and batch-to-batch reproducibility.
Symmetry® C18 and C8 are reversed-phase columns with maximum reproducibility.
SymmetryShield™ RP18 and RP8 phases contain a embedded polar group close to the silica surface, that shields the silica’s residual silanols from highly basic analytes. The reduced silanol activity significantly improves peak shape and resolution. SymmetryShield™ columns are suitable for applications requiring low organic, high aqueous eluent conditions.
Symmetry300™ C18 und C4 are reversed-phase columns with 300 Å pore size. They offer high recoveries of peptides and proteins.
