SolGel
SolGel is a brand name for GC columns manufactured by Trajan Scientific™. Due to a special sol-gel manufacturing process the stationary phase is covalently bonded to the capillary inner wall. This results in very robust and temperature-stable GC-phases.
SolGel-1ms™:
- Robust, highly inert, non-polar phase for use with mass spectrometers
- Can also be used for all non-MS detectors
- High temperature stability
- Same selectivity as BP1
- Recommended for highly active compounds
SolGel-WAX™:
- WAX Phase with very high temperature stability and robustness
- Bonded polyethylene glycol
- Less susceptible to damage by oxygen than conventional wax phases
- Low bleed and inert
- Bonded and cross-linked
- Able to be solvent rinsed
- Recommended for highly active compounds
