Shodex (Resonac) / ODP2 HP

ODP2 HP

ODP2 HP columns from Shodex are polymer-based columns for reversed phase chromatography. The efficiency of these columns is comparable to silica based ODS columns. However, the ODP2 HP columns do not have a C18 group. The separation is due to the material itself.

Compared to silica C18 columns, the ODP2 HP columns show a better retention of polar substances. In addition, the ODP2 HP materials have been developed to exclude proteins from the pores. This means that these columns can be used for analysing drugs in biological samples without being quickly affected by proteins.
