Asahipak

Asahipak™ is a brand name for various HPLC columns made by Shodex™ (Showa Denko™). The common feature of all Asahipak™ columns is the base material: polyvinyl alcohol. Asahipak™ columns include phases for reversed-phase chromatography (ODP-50, ODP-40, C8P-50, C4P-50), hydrophilic interaction chromatography (NH2P), size exclusion chromatography (GF-HQ), ion exchange chromatography ( ES-502N, ES-502C) and one multimode phase (GS-HQ).

Asahipak™ GS-HQ is an HPLC columns with SEC as the main separation mode. With the choice of eluent, the column provides multimode features of reversed phase, hydrophilic interaction (HILIC) and ion exchange modes to SEC. The columns are suitable for the separation of peptides or nucleic acids with similar molecular weights and for desalting samples or substituting buffer in protein analysis. The base material is Polyvinyl alcohol.
