Porvair Sciences has developed extractable-free microplates for different applications. This solid, stable and above all, strong, microplates can withstand the applied forces in bead-beaters whilst maintaining a standard ANSI/SLAS footprint and key dimensions. To ensure high stability of the well plates, Porvair Sciences has developed a special design for its high-purity PP plates so that they are also compatible with high-energy processes, such as those commonly used for cell disruption or genome analysis (bead beating). As zero-leachates solution Porvair offers a 96-well glass vial storage plate, which combines 1mL borosilicate glass vials into a rigid polypropylene carrier plate.
 

The Multi-tier-plate (MTP) format allows the same plate base to be used with flat and conical bottomed vials from 0.5 to 2.5ml in volume for maximum flexibility.
