Plate Handling
Plate handling instruments from Porvair are designed for a variety of different tasks. These range from the automated handling of plates with other devices or automated labelling with barcodes.
Scorpion is an instrument for handling well plates. This instrument can be used in combination with many other instruments. Scorpion plate handlers can be customised to fit a wide range of applications.
eGecko2 is used for the application of barcodes. Different heads can be used to apply barcodes to both smooth and curved surfaces. The eGecko2 canalso be fully automated with other systems and is compatible with LIMS systems.
ValiData is also an instrument for applying barcodes. In comparison to eGecko2, racks can also be labelled. The applied barcodes can be scanned so that only verified and readable barcodes are introduced into the process.
