apHera
ApHera™ are HPLC columns from Merck-Supelco™, with a vinyl alcohol copolymer as base material. These phases were developed to combine the superior advantages of both silica and polystyrene, without the disadvantages of either. They show high stability over a wide pH range and are stable in all common organic solvents. Furthermore the pore size of 300 Å enable the separation of peptides and proteins. The apHera™ NH2 phase is especially suitable for the separation of mono‒ and oligosaccharides.
