GL Sciences / MonoCap

MonoCap

The MonoCap series from GL Sciences offers high-performance capillary columns for HPLC that are made of monolithic silica and provide exceptional efficiency and reproducibility. These columns are designed for high flow rates, low pressure and increased sensitivity in LC/MS applications. They are ideal for a wide range of analyses, including high resolution and fast separations. The series includes different types, each optimised for specific applications, such as nano-flow for high sensitivity and trap columns for online pre-concentration.

Technical Data

GL Sciences’ MonoCap HighResolution 2000 Series capillary columns are used to determine peptides and proteins.

In addition they eliminate the need for frits or filters at the ends of the column and reducing dead volume because of the solid structure of GL Sciences’ monolithic silica.

The high porosity of GL Sciences’ monolithic silica allows high flow rates.

MonoCap C18 Fast-flow are workable at a broad range of linear velocity from 0.5 to 5 mm/s without sacrificing efficiency and separation at high speed.

MonoCap C18 Nano-flow producing a higher number of theoretical plates compared to a totally porpous particle type capillary column.

MonoCap C18 WideBore can be used at a wide range of flow rate from 6 to 100 µL/min without sacrificing efficiency.

MonoCap C18 Trap Columns are used for on-line preconcentration or desalting of protein and peptide sample.

MonoCap Amide are suitable for the analysis of sugars via HILIC mode.

MonoCap SCX columns can be used for 2D LC applications for the separation of biomolecules such as peptides and proteins.
