DEGASi
The DEGASi product line comprises different degassers for different application. Degassing of the mobile phase is essential to obtain optimal performance and highest reproducibility. Biotech's DEGASi line is easy to use and provides reliable operation for many years. Due to the low internal volume of this system with Systec AF tubing, only short equilibration times and very short start up times are necessary compared to PTFE degassing channels.
There are eight different degassers available, with the selection depending on the flow rate and the type of solvent used.

Mechanism of degassing
The solvent flows through the Systec AF tubing in the degasser. In the chamber a vacuum is applied which forces the dissolved gases to migrate across the tubing wall. This gases are expelled from the system and the chamber is maintained at a constant vacuum level.
DEGASi PLUS CLASSIC: first choice for most applications, for aggresive organic solvents
DEGASi PLUS GPC: for 100 % organic solvents (GPC and Normal phase chromatography), uses a stainless steel stent for more secure internal connection
DEGASi PLUS MICRO: for low flow rates and low dead volume
DEGASi PLUS SEMI-PREP: for higher flow rates up to 6 mL/min
DEGASi PREP: for flow rates up to 50 mL/min, outstanding chemical compatibility, ultra high degassing efficiency
DEGASi PREP+: for flow rates up to 75-100 mL/min per chamber, for aggresive media, in preparative HPLC and flash chromatography
DEGASi COMPACT: with a new single stage vacuum pump and therefore a compact design
DEGASi HIGH FLOW 1000: for flow rates up to 1000 mL/min, applications are water base
