Poroshell

Poroshell® (U)HPLC Columns, manufactured by Agilent Technologies™, are based on Core-Shell (Fused-Core™) Technology. The silica-based stationary phases consist of a non-porous core and an porous outer layer, that provides fast separations without excessive backpressure. Poroshell® columns are available with different modifications for many different applications, even for enantiomer separations. The particle sizes are 1.9 µm (Core: N/A), 2.7 μm (core: 1.7 μm) and 4 μm (core: N/A).
 

Poroshell® 300 Phases with 300 Å pore size and 5 µm (core: 4.5 µm) particle size are ideally suited for large molecules, e.g. peptides or proteins.
