Product Description
The Ultisil Polar-RP HPLC column 50x2.1mm, 5µm, features an alkyl phase with an embedded polar group on ultrapure silica. Ultisil Polar-RP remains wetted even in fully aqueous eluents, provides additional selectivity for polar compounds and is suitable for basic active substances, macrolides, metabolites and LC-MS methods.

Additional Notes
According to the manufacturer, “Ultisil” and “Ultimate” refer to the same packing material under different regional naming conventions. The choice of modification depends on polarity, charge, molecular size, aromaticity, and the desired retention mechanism. Coated chiral selectors may only be used with approved eluents; ion-exchange and mixed-mode phases require joint optimization of pH, ionic strength, and organic content.
