Technical Data
Nouryon (formerly AkzoNobel Specialty Chemicals) is the manufacturer of the famous Kromasil™ silica gel for chromatography. The material is produced in multi-kilogram batches using a fully automated process, ensuring high reproducibility of properties. Kromasil™ is very robust and allows repeated packing at up to 600 bar. In addition to the RP and NP phases KROMASIL™ 60 and KROMASIL™ 100 Kromasil AmyCoat™ and CelluCoat™ are available as bulk material. This means that robust materials for product purification are also available for chiral applications.
Merck Millipore™ (in the USA: EMD Millipore™) offers a wide range of bulk materials for chromatography. MZ-Analysentechnik GmbH supplies customers with the proven materials LiChrospher® and LiChrosorb® for analytical applications, as well as with the material LiChroprep® for preparative chromatography.
