The Protein-Pak™ product range, manufactured by Waters™, consists of various HPLC columns for ion-exchange and hydrophobic interaction chromatography. They are suitable for the analysis of diverse biological samples containing recombinant proteins, monoclonal antibodies, and other biological compounds.
Protein-Pak™ Hi Res Ion-Exchange (IEX) columns are based on nonporous, hydrophilic polymethacrylate particles bearing functional groups for ion-exchange chromatography. The pH-tolerant phases exhibit high protein loading capacities and show consistent batch-to-batch performance.
Protein-Pak® Hi Res HIC is a column especially for Hydrophobic Interaction Chromatography (HIC). The phases consist of nonporous, polymethacrylate based particles (2.5 μm) functionalized with a butyl-ligand coating. These particles are well-suited to characterizing proteins and biotherapeutics, including monoclonal antibodies (mAb) and antibody drug conjugates (ADC).
