UCT QuEChERS
UCT offers QuEChERS for the original, the AOAC and the EN method. The products for the original method come without any buffer. The AOAC method requires sodium acetate and the EN method sodium citrate as the buffer.
QuEChERS Extraction salts are available as multi-packs. These packs include 50 packs of pouches with the extraction salts and 50 empty centrifuge tubes. However, only the pouches containing extraction salts are also available.
Dispersive-SPE (dSPE) sorbents for QuEChERS are also available from UCT. You can choose between different sorbents to meet your requirements.
- PSA: removes sugars, acids and some pigments
- GCB: strong sorbent for pigment removal
- C18: removes long-chain fatty compounds and other non-polar interferences
The volume of the dSPE centrifuge tubes can be chosen between 2, 15 and 50 mL.
Chlorofiltr is a especially designed sorbent to remove chlorophyll from samples. Usually graphitized carbon black (GCB) is used to remove chlorophyll, but it can also remove planar pesticides. Therefore, Chlorofiltr is an alternative to GCB to remove chlorophyll and determine planar pesticides.
SpinFiltr is a product for simultaneous dSPE clean-up and ultrafiltration with a 0.2μm PTFE filter. This allows to recover additional sample volume without worrying about the disruption of centrifuge layers.
Lipifiltr are push-thru cartridges to remove lipids from acetonitril extracts. The extract after a standard QuEChERS extractions is simply pushed through the Lipifiltr. The extract after the Lipifiltr extraction can be directly used in LC analysis.
QuICK QuEChERS is a push-thru system which eliminates the need for shaking and centrifugation of extracts during clean-up. The recovery rates of the QuICk QuEChERS cartridge are comparable to traditional dSPE clean-up.
SPE dual phase cartridge system is an alternative clean-up process for complex matrices and/or when dSPE is not sufficient.
