Promix
Promix columns are special columns for the separation of proteomics, peptides and proteins. They consist of an ionic group and a hydrophobic chain. This modification enables ionic interactions and reversed phase interactions. The retention and selectivity can be controlled by the pI of the analyte and the mobile phase ionic strength, as well as by the hydrophobicity of the analyte and the amount of organic in the mobile phase.
Promix SP: for small peptides under 1.000 Da and pI below 6.0
Promix AP: for small and medium peptides under 3.000 Da and pI below 7.0
Promix MP: for medium proteins and peptides from 1.000 to 10.000 Da
