Rtx®-1:

  • General-purpose columns for solvent impurities, PCB congeners (e.g., Aroclor mixes), simulated distillation, arson accelerants, gases, natural gas odorants, sulfur compounds, essential oils, hydrocarbons, semivolatiles, pesticides, oxygenates.
  • Long lifetime and very low bleed at high operating temperatures
     

Rtx®-5:

  • General-purpose columns for drugs, solvent impurities, pesticides, hydrocarbons, PCB congeners (e.g., Aroclor mixes), essential oils, semivolatiles.
     

Rtx®-5 MS:

  • General-purpose columns for drugs, solvent impurities, pesticides, hydrocarbons, PCB congeners (e.g., Aroclor mixes), essential oils, semivolatiles.
  • Well-suited for GC/MS applications
     

Rtx®-5 Amine:

  • Application-specific column for amines and other basic compounds, including alkylamines, diamines, triamines, ethanolamines, and nitrogen-containing heterocyclics.
     

Rtx®-20:

  • General-purpose column for volatile compounds, flavor compounds, alcoholic beverages
  • Low columns-bleed
     

Rtx®-35:

  • General-purpose column for organochlorine pesticides, PCB congeners (e.g., Aroclor mixes), herbicides, pharmaceuticals, sterols, rosin acids, phthalate esters
  • Due to the increased phenyl content compared to 5% phenyl phases and the associated higher polarity, differences in the elution order are observed. Therefore, this phase is particularly suitable as a confirmation phase.
     

Rtx®-35 Amine:

  • Application-specific columns for amines and other basic compounds, including alkylamines, diamines, triamines, ethanolamines, and nitrogen-containing heterocyclics
     

Rtx®-50:

  • General-purpose columns for pesticides, herbicides, rosin acids, phthalate esters, sterols
  • Due to the high thermal stability, this column is often used as a confirmation column in double column analyses with 5% phenyl phases
     

Rtx®-65:

  • General-purpose columns for phenols, fatty acids, triglycerides
  • Highest share of phenyl of all cross-linked silicone phases. This achieves a strong interaction with aromatics
  • Very suitable as confirmation column (in combination with Rtx®-5) for EPA method 604 (phenols)
  • Similar to a Carbowax® phase, FAMEs on an Rtx®-65 elute according to their chain length. However, this phase does not show the thermal limitations of Carbowax® phases.
     

Rtx®-65TG:

  • Application-specific column, specially tested for triglycerides
  • Further applications: Phenols, Fatty acids
     

Rtx®-200:

  • General-purpose columns for solvents, Freon fluorocarbons, alcohols, ketones, silanes, glycols, and drugs of abuse
  • Excellent confirmation column with an Rtx-5 column for phenols, nitrosamines, organochlorine pesticides, chlorinated hydrocarbons, and chlorophenoxy herbicides
  • Basically for all molecules with strongly electronegative groups
  • Very good chemical and thermal stability
  • Selectivity is basically different from phenyl- or cyano groups and polyethylene glycol phases
     

Rtx®-200 MS:

  • Well-suited for GC/MS applications
  • General purpose columns for solvents, Freon fluorocarbons, alcohols, ketones, silanes, glycols
  • Excellent confirmation column with an Rtx-5 column for phenols, nitrosamines, organochlorine pesticides, chlorinated hydrocarbons, and chlorophenoxy herbicides

  • General-purpose columns with unique selectivity for pesticides, PAHs, or other semivolatiles
  • Ideal for low/trace-level analyses
  • Low-bleed, high-resolution columns with unique selectivity
     

Rtx®-502.2:

  • Application-specific column with unique selectivity for volatile organic pollutants
  • Cited in U.S. EPA Method 502.2 and in many gasoline range organics (GRO) methods for monitoring underground storage tanks
  • Excellent separation of trihalomethanes
  • Ideal polarity for light hydrocarbons and aromatics
     

Rtx®-624:

  • Application-specific columns for volatile organic pollutants
  • Recommended in U.S. EPA methods for volatile organic pollutants
  • Compared to the Rtx®-502.2 column, better resolution of early eluting compounds
  • Especially suitable for EPA method 524.2, as it separates 2-Nitropropane from 1,1-Dichloropropane
     

Rtx®-1614:

  • Optimized for PBDE (Poly Brominated Diphenyl Ethers) analysis by EPA Method 1614
  • Unique deactivation gives higher BDE-209 response, for greater analytical sensitivity
  • Exceeds EPA Method 1614 resolution criteria for BDE-49 and BDE-71
     

Rtx®-1701:

  • General-purpose columns for alcohols, oxygenates, PCB congeners (e.g., Aroclor mixes), pesticides, and fragrance compounds
  • Ideal for confirmation analyses in combination with a Rtx®-35 or Rtx®-5
  • Long-term reproducibility and minimal bleeding
  • Suitable for use with sensitive ECD and MSD detectors
     

Rtx®-2330:

  • Suitable for the separation of Cis/trans-Isomers of FAMEs (Fatty Acid Methyl Esters), Isomers of Dioxins and Furans
  • Special surface treatment of the FS capillary stabilizes the highly polar stationary phase. As a chemically unbound phase it therefore shows comparatively low bleeding and a better reproducibility.
     

Rtx®-2887:

  • Application-specific column for simulated distillation according to ASTM D2887
  • Optimized for flame retardant analysis by EPA Method 1614
  • High thermal stability and special deactivation
