Molsieves from Restek are molecular sieves that have a high adsorption capacity for gases and dissolved substances. The pore size of the molecular sieves plays a major role here. As these materials are very hydrophilic, they adsorb water from the sample or the carrier gas. This can have a negative effect on the performance of the column.
