The COSMOCORE columns from Nacalai Tesque consist of core-shell particles with a diameter of 2.6 μm. With the 2.6Cholester and the 2.6PBr, two phases with alternative selectivity in comparison to the C18 are available.
2.6Cholester: better selectivity for cis-trans isomers, polyphenols and natural products
2.6PBr: higher retention for hydrophilic compounds and suitable for nucleic acids and derivatives, surfactants, glycosides and peptides
