Sunrise
The Sunrise product range consists of the C18, C28 and C18-SAC phase. These have either a conventional endcapping or a contolled amount of free silanols (SAC technology).
The C18 phase is a conventional phase with full endcapping.
The C28 phase provides a different selectivity and can be used with up to 50 % aqueous mobile phases.
In C18-SAC, a controlled residual silanol activity is present. Only the active silanol groups are occupied with a C18 function. This leads to a special non endcapped phase with silanol groups on the surface. This gives the C18-SAC a unique selectivity.
